Geoffrey Sarabia-Mason

Vice President of Operations

Geoff is a broadly trained and highly disciplined entrepreneurial executive with more than 30 years of experience managing sales, marketing, operations, personnel and profitability at the unit, district, regional, and corporate levels for both existing and new-build hospitality outlets. He is a person who looks beyond the hectic pace of meetings, paperwork, and emails, with a motivational management style and a record of building and retaining highly driven sales and operations teams.

An East Coast native, he now calls CA home and enjoys spending time with his spouse and young daughter, and they share a passion for discovery and travel. When not working, he and and his family can be found hiking one of the many regional trails, taking a quick road trip along the CA coastline, or boarding a plane for a new-found destination.

GREATEST STRENGTH YOU LEARNED FROM YOUR PARENTS?

My parents taught me to work through my problems, not to give up or run away from them. Tackle challenges head on and with integrity and stay true to what you believe is the right solution.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE BPR HOTEL & WHY?

It would be hard to name a favorite, but i am currently drawn to the nature aspect of the Paradox in Santa Cruz. It stands apart from the stories of the hotels around it, and dares to be different and unique.
